Recently, the "2025 'Chenglong Cup' Fuel Efficiency Challenge Award Ceremony", jointly organized by Ordos Kailing Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motors, came to a successful conclusion in Ordos. For this event, the aim is to fully experience the hardcore fuel-efficient performance of the Chenglong H5 415-horsepower natural gas tractor through practical combat. With precise operation, the contestants constantly broke the fuel efficiency records. For this challenge event, the Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Chenglong H5 415-horsepower natural gas tractor was used as the competition vehicle. The vehicles engaged in fierce competition in typical coal transportation scenarios in Ordos.

Event data shows that this model saves more than 2 kg per 100 km compared to similar models. Calculated based on an annual operation of 150,000 kilometers, each vehicle can save over 30,000 yuan in energy costs.

This model is equipped with a high-horsepower natural gas engine and multiple new gas technologies, consuming 2 kg less per 100 km than comparable models, leading to annual operating cost savings of over 20,000 yuan. By adopting 154 scientific weight reduction measures and through the application of new materials and structural optimization, the entire vehicle is lightweight without compromising quality. The lightest self-weight of the chassis can reach 7.7 tons, which is more advantageous than competing products and has a stronger loading capacity. If the integrated head and trailer lightweight solution is adopted, it is more than 1 ton lighter than similar products in the industry, and can earn an additional 20,000 yuan annually.
