Recently, the 22nd East Expo was opened at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a mainstay of China's commercial vehicle industry, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor(DFLZM) made its debut with three blockbuster models of its Chenglong brand, comprehensively demonstrating the latest achievements of Chinese commercial vehicle brands in the field of new energy and intelligence, outlining a new picture of future smart logistics to the ASEAN market, and providing solid momentum into the construction of version 3.0 of the ASEAN Free Trade Area.

As one of the large car companies closest to ASEAN, DFLZM has been deeply involved in this market for more than 30 years since it exported the first batch of trucks to Vietnam in 1992. The commercial vehicle brand "Chenglong" covers 8 countries including Vietnam and Laos, and is suitable for the left-hand drive and right-hand drive markets. In Vietnam, Chenglong has a market share of over 35%, and the segmentation of medium trucks reaches 70%. It will export 6,900 units in 2024; Long-term leader in the Chinese truck market in Laos. Passenger cars "Dongfeng Forthing" have entered Cambodia, the Philippines and other places, forming an export pattern of "simultaneous development of business and passenger cars".

Chenglong Yiwei 5 pure electric tractor is Chenglong's first fully forward-developed new energy heavy-duty truck platform product. As a prime example of multi-scenario transportation solutions designed for efficient profitability, Chenglong H7 Pro 6 × 2 truck provides ASEAN customers with a combination of high-quality transportation equipment with reliability and operational efficiency with its strong power of 350 horsepower, ultra-low fuel consumption of 21 liters per 100 kilometers, extremely lightweight design and comfortable driving experience.

The Chenglong Yiwei 2 pure electric Light Truck tailor-made for the ASEAN market, has drawn significant attention. This model is specially designed for right-hand drive countries such as Thailand and Malaysia. It is equipped with CATL's large-capacity battery + dual-gun 2C overcharging technology. With a comprehensive range of 450 kilometers, it easily meets the demands of both urban and rural transportation in Southeast Asia.
