Forthing Lingzhi NEV Lanzhou Test: Efficient Shuttling, the "Reliable Partner" for Entrepreneurs is Here

2025-11-13

Recently, the Forthing "Lingzhi China Wealth Tour" arrived in Lanzhou, focusing on two main scenarios: business reception and tourist shuttle services. Through real-world testing involving both media and actual vehicle owners, the event comprehensively demonstrated the product capabilities of the Lingzhi NEV 420km pure electric version and the 110km extended-range version in real operational environments, precisely addressing Lanzhou's demands for efficiency, economy, and reliability in shuttle vehicles.

To succeed in Lanzhou's shuttle operations, a deep understanding of the local scenarios' specific characteristics is essential. Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport handles a large volume of business traffic daily, where business travelers are highly sensitive to timeliness. For the journey from hotel to airport, vehicles must not only run steadily and avoid delays but also enable fast luggage loading and unloading to prevent disrupting schedules. Simultaneously, as a Silk Road tourism hub, group tours – including family tours and senior citizen groups – are very common. These groups often carry items like strollers, portable seats, or souvenirs, resulting in numerous and varied pieces of luggage. This demands shuttle vehicles that offer ample space and comfortable seating to avoid crowding and ensure a pleasant travel experience. For operating drivers, "stable range and low cost" are key to profitability – frequent trips cannot be hampered by range anxiety, and energy consumption directly impacts earnings.

"Driving a fuel vehicle before, the summer fuel consumption exceeded 10 liters per 100 km, with monthly fuel costs over 4000 RMB. The trunk could barely fit three carry-on suitcases, making it very cramped when picking up tour groups," shared Master Ma, who has years of experience in airport shuttles. An airport passenger added, "Previously, shuttle vans had narrow sliding doors. I had to bend down and squeeze through carrying my equipment, which was particularly stressful during early morning flights." These real feedback points highlight the pressing challenges in Lanzhou's shuttle scenarios.

Aiming directly at these core needs in Lanzhou's shuttle scenes, the Lingzhi NEV demonstrated high scenario adaptability during this test. Addressing the demand for "efficiency" in business travel, the Lingzhi NEV 420km pure electric version performed excellently. Departing from a hotel and driving on undulating national highways, Master Ma remarked, "This road has many slopes and bridges, but the Lingzhi has stable power and long range. The electricity cost per 100 km is only eight or nine RMB – it truly is a reliable partner for our line of work." Upon arriving at the terminal, media personnel assisted passengers boarding. Thanks to the 820mm ultra-wide sliding door and low floor design, passengers with carry-on luggage and computer bags could board and alight easily without bending or turning sideways. Subsequent luggage loading was highly efficient, taking less than two minutes in total, significantly reducing wait times for business travelers.

Facing the tourist shuttle demand for "comfort and ample space," the 110km extended-range version likewise lived up to expectations: The equipped roof-mounted single-cooling air conditioner quickly cooled the cabin and dissipated heat, greatly enhancing passenger comfort. Furthermore, the tidy and spacious trunk easily accommodated multiple suitcases of different sizes (22-inch, 24-inch, 28-inch, etc.), without luggage encroaching on passenger space. The range performance gave operating drivers peace of mind: with a comprehensive range of up to 900 km, even multiple shuttle trips between the airport and the city dozens of kilometers away didn't require frequent searches for charging/refueling stations. More considerately, even with the air conditioning running throughout the journey, the displayed range showed almost no discrepancy from the actual distance traveled, providing greater confidence for long-distance shuttle services and enabling drivers to serve tourists more assuredly.

Additionally, standard features across the series, including a 10-inch central control screen, rearview camera, and a smaller turning radius, facilitate smoother handling in tight areas. The 8-year or 160,000-kilometer ultra-long warranty also alleviates concerns about "downtime due to repairs." Master Li said, "My previous vehicle started having frequent issues after 3 years. With this vehicle's long warranty, I feel much more secure running shuttle services."

As the "profit-building vehicle" that was among the first to break the foreign monopoly in the MPV market and has accompanied the growth of 1.16 million entrepreneurs, the Forthing Lingzhi has consistently driven product iteration based on real user scenarios throughout its over twenty-year development history. Entering the new energy era, the brand further focuses on core demands such as range, loading capacity, and economy, transforming them into differentiated product competitiveness to help users increase revenue and reduce costs.

Precisely because of this, the standout performance of the Lingzhi NEV in Lanzhou's transport hub is no coincidence. This not only serves as a successful verification for a single regional market but also represents a concentrated reflection of the shuttle scenarios and user needs across the broader Northwest region. It has also precisely resonated deeply with local entrepreneurs – a true wealth-creating vehicle must respond to the unique demands of the regional market. In the future, the Lingzhi NEV will continue to delve into more niche sectors, employing user-centric design thinking to help entrepreneurs proceed steadily and far on the road to prosperity.
