The PVC glue-dispensing robot and clear coat robot made their debut in a complete form at the Chenglong commercial vehicle painting workshop for the first time
The installation and debugging of commercial vehicle painting robots took more than two months of hard work, overcoming numerous difficulties. Finally, the installation of 4 spraying robots and 2 glue-dispensing robots was completed on site, laying a solid foundation for subsequent debugging and stable operation.
The application of the robot vision system in Chenglong commercial vehicles is a first, and undoubtedly, it is a highly challenging task. To meet the high-precision requirements during use, there can be no room for error in the hardware. Proper installation and connection of hardware equipment, such as cameras, lenses, and light sources, are fundamental. It is crucial to ensure that there is no looseness or damage. During the debugging phase, establishing the transformation relationship between the camera coordinate system and the robot base coordinate system is key. This requires excellent technical skills and rich experience, with repeated testing and adjustments to ensure that the robot can accurately identify the offset values through the vision system, and precisely capture the positions on the vehicle body where the glue needs to be applied, thus meeting the high-quality requirements for the subsequent PVC glue dispensing process.
The main structure of the robots has clear and strict requirements for installation position, precision, and safety, ensuring the accuracy of each robot's installation position. This provides strong support for the smooth progress of the subsequent robot debugging work, helps the workshop improve its automation and intelligence levels, and injects new vitality into the enterprise's high-quality development.
