Yadea Partners with Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor to Launch a New Era of All-Electric Logistics
Recently, Yadea South China Center held a landmark ceremony that signaled a green upgrade for the industry. Witnessed by Yadea Technology Group – a leader in two-wheeled electric vehicles – and Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor (DFLZM), a pioneer in commercial vehicles, the DFLZM Yiwei 2 new energy Light Trucks were officially delivered to Yadea Technology’s logistics carriers.

At the ceremony, the two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement, finalizing a bulk order of 200 units and completing the handover of the first 20 vehicles. This signing represents far more than a purchase agreement; it is a formal declaration that Yadea will fully phase out traditional fuel-powered logistics and pursue higher efficiency through all-electric new quality productive forces.

The core highlight of this delivery ceremony is the powertrain transformation of Yadea’s logistics system. With the first batch of Yiwei 2 new energy light trucks put into operation, Yadea Technology will achieve full green transformation for inbound parts logistics and finished vehicle distribution across South China.
“This is not simply replacing fuel trucks with electric vehicles. It is a restructuring of logistics scenarios in response to the initiative of new quality productive forces,” said a representative of Yadea’s logistics carrier at the event. Supported by efficient energy replenishment and intelligent management of new energy commercial vehicles, Yadea will substantially cut carbon emissions from last-mile delivery. Meanwhile, the lower energy cost of electric vehicles will help reduce costs and improve efficiency in long-distance transportation.
As the supplier in this cooperation, DFLZM demonstrated strong customization capabilities. To meet Yadea’s special requirements for transporting large, collision-sensitive two-wheeled electric vehicles in an upright position, DFLZM developed customized models for parts and finished vehicle logistics.
The Yiwei 2 new energy light truck is built on an all-new heavy-duty platform. It not only eliminates “full-load range anxiety” but also greatly improves loading/unloading efficiency and transport capacity through optimized chassis design and cargo box opening. This shift from “vehicles adapting to people” to “vehicles adapting to cargo” reflects DFLZM’s deep expertise in professional logistics.

The delivery at the South China Center marks only the beginning of in-depth cooperation between the two sides. Under the agreement, they will deepen collaboration on scenario-based customized development and key technological coordination, aiming to further optimize logistics operating efficiency.
Within the new energy industry, this partnership between a two-wheeler giant and a commercial vehicle leader is seen as a model of upstream and downstream industrial chain synergy. Through full-chain resource integration, Yadea optimizes logistics costs using DFLZM’s supply chain and manufacturing system. In return, DFLZM gains valuable operational data through Yadea's market network to support the research and development of next-generation new energy logistics vehicles.
In an era where commercial flow drives logistics, the cooperation between Yadea and DFLZM opens a practical path for the industry to achieve cost reduction and efficiency through equipment upgrades. As the first 20 Yiwei 2 trucks set off, a green, intelligent and efficient logistics revolution is accelerating across Yadea's supply chain.
